Now Quantum Mechanics Reveals That We Are All Truly Connected…
If that can apply for many families living in the West, it should also be true in my case.
Obviously, Indians believe in the universal truth that “All is Mind.”
That explains to the tremendous amount of wordplay in politics and the success of politicos in India.
All word and no work!
It explains that THE ALL (which is the Substantial Reality underlying all the outward manifestations and appearances which we know under the terms of “The Material Universe”; the “Phenomena of Life”; “Matter”; “Energy”; and, in short, all that is apparent to our material senses) which in itself is UNKNOWABLE and UNDEFINABLE, but which may be considered and thought of as AN UNIVERSAL, INFINITE, LIVING MIND”.
Wow… I liked that…. Although, I have the faintest idea of what it meant. But I liked it.
I must mug/ pigg or study it up, and use it occasionally to show my intellectual side, when I am faced with a question to which I don’t know the answer to!
Coming back to quantum mechanics…and the connections..
Incidentally, they say that Justin Trudeau is an expert in quantum mechanics – I am certain that he has a linkage with Punjab! (No offense, Just in Jest!).
Likewise, The Biplab is suffering from bipolar disorder (No offense… The Biplab is a joker… I mean, he likes a good joke!)
Now, if someone were to ask me about my linkage…
I have little choice but to say that , although, I am from the Nair community, my grandparents may have been linked to Namboodiris or Dalit’s (you never know) but definitely not Pops. But I have the faintest idea about the generation before Pops and Mum, or the one before that…
Besides, the generation before that may have been linked to Tippu Sultan, who was hanging around Palakkad for some reason or the other, and decided to build a fort…
I am sure Tippu and his group would not have been idle… and that they must have had a swinging time, and fertilized more than a couple of women…from which caste or community… I haven’t the faintest idea!
Now…. Some Sultans of Swing… at the Wild West End!…didn’t come from nowhere…
I reckon that’s why they named our Road as West Fort Road!
Meanwhile, the busy Nair’s or Namboodiri’s may have had a fancy, for some of the English or Portuguese buxom lassies.
Vasco De Gama, too, would have been pretty busy, establishing his own artificial insemination unit, in all parts of Kerala before leaving!
Now some of those lassies may have had some links to the Mughals… prior to which we may have been linked to the Chola, Chera or the Pandians….
That explains the surname.
Why do I say this?
I have this constant crush for English women and English food (despite it being bland, I love it… be it the former or latter)… Likewise, the Portuguese women and their food…
The Mughlai cuisine, is just a gastronomic delight… and not to mention the subtle fancy towards Arab/ Moslem women I secretly harbor! (No, I didn’t say that… no offense to anyone I hope). It is just that they are beautiful, and I am scared to pass a compliment, as it may be classified as Love Jihad!
On top of it, Sufi Teachings have always fascinated me, although it is a bit over the head, at times.
I am also a firm believer that only Namboodiris should do the Poojas in temples (despite my other genes fighting against it and saying that any learned person can do it…), and that I am also rather fluent in my Sanskrit Shlokas….
Me being a Namboodiri… it is a bit scary thought!
Finally, it was through the OLA reading, that I realized that I may have been linked to the Chera, Chola or the Pandian clan…,
The OLA reading – it is believed that the OLA (or palm) leaf contains the life histories of nearly every human being on earth.” These forecasts are said to have been originally written on goatskins, later transcribed onto copper plaques and then onto ola leaves. The script was initially written in Sanskrit and was translated to Tamil only a century ago. It seems that they were tutorial exercises set by the ancient sages to their pupils who were set the task of composing the horoscopes of persons yet to be born in a series of dates and times. It is rather interesting, if you haven’t checked yours…
Incidentally, the Sri Lankan Tamils and the other locals are quite taken up by it.
Finally, to top it all, I get married to a family, who albeit being religious, are inclined more to the left or right (don’t know which is communism) and a father in law, who is a staunch atheist.
Sometimes, I thank my stars that we didn’t have a progeny!
We may have had to name him Spock !
Have a good day!
